1) Prove Your Passion Workshop with Silvia Gargiulo from BIY People and Talent

Our events week kicked off with an insightful CV workshop led by Silvia from BIY People and Talent. Silvia’s expertise in talent acquisition and career development in the music industry shone through as she gave our students the ins & outs of applying for jobs.

The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing newfound confidence in their ability to present their qualifications and experiences compellingly.

2) Networking Event: Adrian Sykes in conversation with Naughty Boy

One of the marquee events of the week was the networking session featuring the illustrious music producer Naughty Boy and esteemed music executive Adrian Sykes. The event was a resounding success, offering our students a rare opportunity to gain insights from two of the music industry’s most influential figures.

Naughty Boy shared his journey and provided a glimpse into his creative process and the realities of the music business. Adrian Sykes, with his vast experience in artist management and development, offered practical advice on navigating the industry, building a personal brand, and the importance of networking.

Attendees had the chance to:

  • Gain inspiration and practical advice to advance their careers

The event was filled with lively discussions, valuable connections, and a wealth of information that left participants feeling motivated and better equipped to pursue their musical ambitions.

3) End of Year “No Requests” Showcase

The grand finale of our End of Year Events Week was the spectacular “No Requests” Showcase, organised and run by our Creative Music Business Students.

This included:

  • An open cypher, for anyone in the crowd to jump on stage and freestyle on instrumentals created by our Beatmaking and Production students
  • A sponsorship from Wingstop UK, who kept us fuelled with delicious meals throughout the night
  • 8 student performances, giving our students the stage to perform their original compositions and showcase their unique musical styles.
  • 3 support acts from artists E6, J RHYS and TEE VALENTINE
  • 2 headline acts from rapper BXKS and singer GWAMZ

Each act was a testament to the hard work, creativity, and passion our students have poured into their work throughout the year.

The showcase was attended by music executives, music lovers, friends, and family; who came together to celebrate the end of another incredible year at NHAM.

We are incredibly proud of the success of our End of Year Events Week and grateful to everyone who participated and contributed to making it such a memorable series of events. Watch this space for more news from NHAM!
