PJ has spent over a decade working as a producer and A&R consultant to major record labels. Scouting and producing credits include a diverse range of artists, from Half Moon Run, Dream Wife, Betsy, Lao Ra, to BBC Sound Of nominees AlunaGeorge and defunct NYC band Friends. Along the road he has consulted for Mercury Records, Universal Publishing, ATC Management, Rocket Music and was signed to Sony Black Butter in a producer/A&R hybrid role. Born of the belief that artists’ success should be measured by their creative fulfilment, PJ left the world of the majors to build his own label Sweat Entertainment in 2020. The label prioritises mental health and aims to amplify underrepresented voices. The roster includes Berry Galazka, Liv Dawson, Betsy, Bebeluna, Betsy and Morly.
