Mentoring Programme

Students at NHAM have the opportunity to book a 1-2-1 meeting online with one of our industry mentors in order to receive advice and guidance on their career goals and objectives.

A number of weekly slots are available to book with our mentors.

Alex Donelly

Alex Donelly is a very experienced Digital Service Provider curator, radio programmer, A&R strategist & large scale music live events producer. He is currently the Global Director of A&R and Analysis at relentless Records.

Alex’s career spans over 25 years including senior leadership positions at BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra, Kiss, EMI Music publishing & Channel 4 Radio. As well as music programming, his key skills include talent nurturing, cultural trend analysis and large team leadership.

Career highlights include developing Radio 1’s Live Lounge Brand, Radio 1’s One Big Weekend live event, founding BBC 1Xtra, A&Ring Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back To Black’ album & launching the UK’s first mobile only music Digital Service Provider.

Artists that he has had a direct role in breaking in the UK include Amy Winehouse, Basement Jaxx, Coldplay, Craig David, Destiny’s Child, Eminem, Foo Fighters, Keane, Lauryn Hill, Linkin Park, Ms Dynamite, Muse, Scouting For Girls, So Solid Crew & The Streets to name a few.

Nick Brewer

Nick Brewer has worked within the music industry for over ten years. He grew up in East London during the birth of Grime music, which inspired him to first become a DJ and then write his own lyrics. Nick began writing and recording his own music from the age of 16, and signed a record deal in 2014 with Island Records. 

Nick has sold over 200,000 records, including a certified silver record, garnered millions of streams and YouTube views, and collaborated with various producers and artists such as Stormzy, KSI and Sinead Harnett, to name a few.

Nick is passionate about mental health, having become a patron for Anxiety UK, the biggest anxiety based charity in the UK, and has worked extensively on developing programmes around creative songwriting and positive mental health. 

Nick continues to write and record his own music, as well as running his own management company, managing a tailored roster of artists, producers and content creators.

Krish Kudhail

Krish Kudhail is a creative music marketeer, with a master’s degree in Music Business Management and over 9 years experience working within artist marketing, across major and indie/distro music labels.

She currently works directly with labels and artists across campaigns under her own company, 11K Creative.

She has helped many companies grow tremendously as her expertise spans across various areas of the industry. She has played a pivotal role in numerous successful global campaigns. These campaigns have landed #1 records and led to multiple chart-topping singles and albums, as well as GRAMMY Award nominations and certifications for artists and labels. Certifications landed include – silver, gold, platinum and diamond.

Companies Krish has worked for include Universal Music, Warner Music, MTV, GRM Daily, Soundcrash, UD Music, Westside Radio and Apple. Artists Krish has worked with include Digga D, Rema, Ayra Starr, K-Trap, Potter Payper, Internet Money, Saint Harison, M1llionz & more. Earlier in her career, she also assisted with artists such as Coldplay, Gorillaz, Paul Weller, Disciples and Lily Allen.

Happi the creator is a content creator, recording artist & Award winning producer. From Billboard chart hits and numerous award nominations to viral videos and trending sounds amassing over 100 million views across platforms – Happi the Creator continues to reshape success for musicians & creatives alike. Most notably known for his infectious remixes and charismatic videos, Happi’s ability to reimagine music and sound has caught the attention of people across the globe.

Alex LoSardo

As a promotions manager, concert booker, venue manager, performing musician, radio host, university lecturer and campaign organiser Alex LoSardo has been working in the music industry for nearly 20 years.  Before moving to London in 2010 Alex was the events manager for KISS FM by day and gigging musician by night in Phoenix Arizona’s thriving desert rock scene.  Over the last 15 years in London he spent 8 of them at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club where he promoted external concerts around the U.K. and abroad featuring artists such as Reuben James, Nubya Garcia, Ashley Henry, Richard Spaven, Sheila Maurice Grey, and countless others.  As the National Organiser for Love Music Hate Racism between 2020 and 2024 he organised festivals as well as U.K. tours featuring Alabaster DePlume, Nova Twins, Frank Turner, Cristale, Manga Saint Hilare, Balimaya Project, Jords, Ashaine White, Yolanda Brown, Kianja, Tina Edwards, Joe Talbot (Idles), Don Letts and many more.

Alex has spent the last few years as a University Lecturer focusing on the music industry with a focus on live events.  Currently he is a co-host of the monthly show on Soho Radio, The Thread and is one of the main bookers for the Notting Hill Arts Club.  He has never stopped writing, performing or releasing music throughout his adult life with his most recent alter ego Middle Name John releasing the debut album ‘Obviously Confidential’ on Slowfoot Records in 2024.  To this day Alex stands by the statement that having a shared live music experience is one of the best ways in which people can connect with each other.
